Objective

Breastfeeding Specialists will be able to assess the mother/baby dyad for optimal breastfeeding and implement in-home support strategies through the first weeks of postpartum.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

* Understand how implicit bias impacts breastfeeding

* Discuss the impact of racial disparities upon breastfeeding
